Dental whitening
For pearly whites & a radiant smile
A radiant smile stands for health, beauty and self-confidence. Those who want to whiten their teeth safely and effectively often opt for professional, in-office whitenings at the dentist. This procedure offers numerous advantages over over-the-counter whitening agents and provides impressive results in a short space of time.
What is an in-office whitening?
In-office whitening is a dental whitening procedure using highly concentrated whitening agents that are applied under professional supervision. A special whitening gel is applied to the teeth and activated by light irradiation. This method enables fast and safe teeth whitening in just one session taking around 60 minutes.

Consultation and examination of the situation
Our team checks the condition of the teeth and gums to ensure that the whitening can be carried out safely and successfully.Dental cleaning
Before the actual whitening, plaque and discoloration are removed by means of professional teeth cleaning to ensure an optimal whitening resultThe actual whitening
The actual whitening can usually take place 7 days after the teeth have been cleaned. At the beginning, a special protection is applied to the gums to protect them from the whitening agent. The highly concentrated whitening gel is then applied to the tooth surfaces. The gel is activated by a special lamp, allowing the active ingredients to penetrate deep into the tooth enamel and whiten the teeth. After a maximum exposure time of 15 minutes, the gel is removed. The process can be repeated up to two times, depending on the desired degree of whitening.

Possible side effects
After whitening, the teeth may temporarily react more sensitively to cold and heat. This sensitivity can be treated with a tooth mousse which we provide. The sensitivity usually subsides after a few days. In rare cases, slight irritation of the gums may occur, but then quickly disappear.
Tips for aftercare
Avoid strongly coloring foods (e.g. coffee, tea, red wine) for at least 72 hours after whitening (so called: "white diet")
